This festival is great fun for adults and kids alike. For more action-packed weekends in Clarion during the summer, the town’s Main Street welcomes visitors to enjoy pop-up shops featuring local businesses and an exciting lineup of events, which in the past has featured a planetarium show, scavenger hunt, yoga in the park, and outdoor concert. Each summer month has its own unique theme, ensuring you’ll always find something new and exciting to do.

August’s Schedule

• 8-12pm: Clarion Farmer’s Market in the Clarion Courthouse parking lot
• 9-3pm: Pop-ups on Main Street
• 9-2pm: ALove Choreo Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
• 9:30-11:30am: Kids Zone
• 10-3pm: Live entertainment from the Wild Laurel Cloggers on the corner of 6th Ave & Main St
• 10-3pm: Live music with “Cypress”
• 10-2pm: Clarion County Historical Society
• 11-1pm: Straight line bingo located at 6th & Main Street
• 11am: Yoga @ the Veterans Memorial Park
• 11am: PA Brewery Running Series 5k Fun Run on the corner of 538 Liberty and 6th Ave.
• 11:30-3pm: Author Lynn Neely on the corner of 6th Ave. and Main St.
• 12-2pm: Free face painting at Kids Zone
• 12:30-2pm: Live music outside CRBC featuring the Step Creek String Band
• 3pm: “Dawn of Astronomy” planetarium show @ the PennWest Peirce Planetarium
• 7pm: “Metallica Laser” planetarium show @ the PennWest Peirce Planetarium ($8 admission)
• 7:30pm and on: Live music and food truck at Mechanistic Brewing Company
