Clarion Conservation District: Invasive Species Scavenger Hunt
Please answer the following questions to register for the Clarion Conservation District’s Noticing Changes in Nature: Invasive Species Scavenger Hunt program on Thursday, April 30th, 2026 from 5-7pm at the Clarion Conservation District Office (249 S. 2nd Ave. Clarion, PA).
Participants will:
- Gather together to watch the 2026 Invasive Species Scavenger Hunt training recorded by Amy Jewitt and Corinne Garda of the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy/ Pennsylvania Natural Heritage Program / Pennsylvania iMapInvasives Program to learn how to use community science tools, such as the iMapInvasives and Survey 123 apps, to help record the spread of invasive species.
- Go on a field survey at the Clarion Conservation District Office to practice using the reporting tools.
Directed towards 18+ years old. A FREE native plant and invasive species field guide will be given to the first 25 Clarion County residents that register, attend, and participate in the month long (May) scavenger hunt.
