Swing by Sparrow Books to grab a novel for your next relaxing river float or morning spent hammocking or rocking on the porch. Cross the street and visit Dan Smith’s Candies & Gifts, they have a wide selection of chocolates, truffles, ice cream, and an even better antique collection.
- Breweries: Clarion River Brewing Company offers a selection of freshly brewed beer and food menu and Mechanistic Brewing Co. offers a selection of in-house brews from its chemist and co-owner, George Alexander. Lost in the Wilds Brewing is a short drive away but a great option for enjoying brews alongside Rail 66.
- Food: Clarion has plenty of food options, from chains and comfort foods, to specialty dishes. Bob’s Sub and Cozumel Mexican Restaurant & Cantina are a few of town’s many options, depending on your taste. If you seek to go beyond the burger, stop by the hidden gem, Daddy’s Main Street. Come for the comfort food and stay for the weekly rotating menu with global dishes, like Korean-style ramen, crab, jambalaya, and more.
