Celebrating a tradition with a unique history
Foxburg Country Club is one stop on the Hickory Golf Championship circuit.
Hickory golfing elevates the game to a different echelon, where the craft is also evident in what the player chooses to swing from tee box, to fairway and green, what they choose to wear, and how they store their clubs. This take on the ancient sport showcases true craftsmanship, from club choice to the Edwardian style worn by participating enthusiasts.

The 2025 Tournament Schedule
Thursday, August 7
Registration opens at 10:00am
Practice rounds until 4:00pm
Friday August 8
9:00am Registration opens, group photo at 9:30am.
Practice area confined to the practice green and the 7th fairway.
10:00 Shotgun start for all contestants.
12:00 Break after 9 holes for lunch and libations
2:30pm golf is completed for the day; course is open for additional play.
Saturday August 9
9:30 Shot gun start for all contestants. Play straight through 18 holes
2:30 Rounds near completion, scores tabulated
2:30 Meal is ready, contestants and guests enjoy
3:30 Awards
