This festival is great fun for adults and kids alike.
For more action-packed weekends in Clarion during the summer, the town’s Main Street welcomes visitors to enjoy pop-up shops featuring local businesses and an exciting lineup of events including a planetarium, scavenger hunt, yoga in the park, and outdoor concerts. Each summer month has its own unique theme, ensuring you’ll always find something new and exciting to do.
June 6th & 7th
The Big Outdoors
Experience Clarion County’s playground.
Start off your day with kayaking the Clarion River, hiking the Loop Trail, or biking Rail 66. Return and check out the artist-in-residence and peruse the pop-up shops dotting Main Street from 10am to 4pm.
Register for a flower arranging workshop with Jane’s Blooms, a pickleball tournament, or the 11.5 mile biking time trail. Adore the rural night skies? Stop by the university’s planetarium for an indoor guided educational experience with “Stars over Clarion.”
Kick off and celebrate the summer with some water sports, trail adventures, & shopping for June’s The Big Outdoors Summer Fest day.

What makes the region special are its small businesses, grassroot goods, and community spirit.
Nothing can replace the rapport that a community shares with its members.
July’s events usher in a fireworks show, songwriters’ contest, kids’ scavenger hunt, outdoor yoga, walking history, bake-off, artist-in-residence, live music, and another “Stars Over Clarion” planetarium show.

August features the well-loved Glassblower’s Village! Not only, take part in the “Street Chalk on Main” chalk art competition, glass-blown marble hunt, participate in outdoor yoga or the brewery 5k, listen to live music, or visit the artist-in-residence.
