‘Driving “battlefield” Tour to Lumber History Sites on the Clarion River: Cooksburg-Belltown’ | Cook Forest Living History Weekend
See historical sites, hear the stories, and read from the accounts of the people who lived out their lives on the Clarion. This 3rd person living history driving tour will start promptly at the Log Cabin Inn Environmental Learning Classroom. This is the first time this will be offered to the public. Bring your dinner, you won’t want to miss it.
Please join us for a fun filled weekend of living history as we journey through various historical eras of the United States: French & Indian War, Colonial Period, Revolutionary War, Civil War, WWII, and Pennsylvania’s lumber heritage. Join living historian and master story-teller Paul Stillman, historical interpreter Dave Clark, and Grammy nominated singer-song writer-storyteller, Ray Owen, as they take us through these noteworthy periods of American history through first person character portrayals, hands-on demonstrations, and song.
