The Wayside Restaurant

Built in 1873 from locally timbered chestnut and hemlock trees, the Wayside has provided weary travelers fine food and drink for well over one hundred forty-seven years. Located between Lucinda and Fryburg on an old Algonquin path, the Wayside has served this area as a stage coach stop, post office, hotel, speak-easy, and restaurant.
