The Lumber Heritage Wood Fest – March 21-22, 2025

The Clarion Mall is hosting “The Lumber Heritage Wood Fest” in celebration of the region’s wood heritage with crafts, vendors, chainsaw carving, educational presentations, and a kids’ zone.

🌿 Eagle Watch Tour – March 29, 2025 🌿

Join an unforgettable eagle-watching experience at Cook Forest State Park, where you’ll hike along the Clarion River in search of majestic bald eagles.

📍 Location: Cook Forest State Park Office, 100 Route 36, Cooksburg
🥾 Activity: A carpool and “aggressive” hike to prime eagle-sighting spots along the Clarion River
🔭 What to Bring: Binoculars & scopes
☕ Amenities: Hot chocolate & coffee available at the park office

If you can’t make the Eagle Watch Hike or feel it might be too challenging for your little ones, Cook Forest is a fantastic year-round destination that never disappoints. With plenty of scenic, family-friendly trails, it’s perfect for exploring with kids.
